Dr. James Bagley is a is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Director of the Muscle Physiology Lab at San Francisco State University.  With involvement in over 50 scientific articles, abstracts, and studies, Dr. Bagley is the go-to resource in the field of exercise science.  Danny got to pick Dr. Bagley’s brain regarding the science behind muscle.  They dive into the research behind muscle atrophy, hypertrophy, and flexibility.  Dr. Bagley also drops a ton of knowledge on cutting edge micro biome research, why you may not be performing as well in the gym as you should be, why “old man strength” is a real thing, and how to prevent “sleepy butt syndrome.”  This is an information packed episode!
